Deloitte at Munich Security Conference 2025

Facing the world’s current challenges

The Munich Security Conference 2025 (MSC) was more relevant than ever, uniting global leaders and experts to address urgent international security challenges. Deloitte, as one of the partners of MSC, hosted exclusive events featuring discussions with specialists in security, geopolitics, resilience and sustainability alongside key stakeholders from government and industry.

Taking place from February 14–16, 2025, at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof in Munich, the MSC brought together political, military, and business leaders to tackle today’s most pressing global issues. Deloitte had a dedicated venue, the Deloitte Lounge, located in walking distance to the main conference, offering a space for connecting with thought leaders and decision-makers.

Through close collaboration with businesses, governments, and experts, we aimed to develop solutions for complex global challenges such as digitalization, demographic change, and decarbonization, all of which impact security and stability worldwide.

Deloitte Lounge @Munich Security Conference 2025

Description: The climate crisis has profound impacts not only on human security but also national and international security. Across the globe, climate impacts are aggravating conflicts over ever scarcer resources, forcing countless people to leave their homes. Thus, the climate crisis has the potential to destabilize societies and states. At the same time, the climate crisis has geopolitical impacts: In the melting Arctic, newly accessible resources and trade routes become “bones of contention”. Climate solutions like the energy transition will question current power balances. This brings the climate crisis in the focus of numerous security, military, foreign policy and intelligence actors. This high-level discussion will bring these domains together to discuss how the security and intelligence communities can take climate risks into account in national and international security planning.
