Labs

Deloitte's CLO Program offers a suite of customized and immersive lab experiences for chief legal officers, chief compliance officers, and legal operations executives. These executive Transition Labs and Elevate Labs are designed to help leaders allocate their most important resources—time, talent, and stakeholder relationships—efficiently and effectively, while also focusing on aligning personal priorities with those of the business. During the lab, executives will create a 180-day action plan for addressing their most pressing challenges.

The CLO Program also offers team labs for legal, compliance, and legal operations teams. These labs are designed to address specific challenges facing legal, compliance, and legal operations teams. Examples include: alignment on vision, strategy, goals, and/or responsibilities; unifying new/existing teams, and Business Chemistry labs to help teams better understand how they work best, as well as how to work best with others.

Respondents were grouped into four geographical clusters--the United States, Europe, Australia, and Canada--to better understand where legal functions around the world are aligned, and where they are not.

Being an in-house counsel is considered by many to be a good job. Could it be better? To find out, we surveyed attorneys working in-house across a range of industries, and 305 of them responded.
