Smart mobility
Deloitte worked with the region of Lisbon and Cascais to discover unmet needs and develop solutions to the main mobility challenges. Specifically to Lisbon, Deloitte designed the concept of a micro-mobility management platform based on the data shared by the city’s micro-mobility operators.
Cities today are experiencing massive urbanization, rising congestion, uncoordinated innovation, and revenue shortfalls that limit them in addressing their goals for the future of mobility. As such, they need to re-arrange their modal split of passenger transport and organize the concept of micro-mobility management.
Approach
Deloitte designed and developed the Shared Mobility Management platform – a Synergy solution. This platform aims to regulate the usage of shared mobility assets, in order to minimize their impact on public spaces, while also improving their usage in combination with other sustainable mobility modes.

Value delivered
Development of two prototypes for Micro Shared Mobility and Urban Logistics through visual screens and videos
Design of the mOS roadmap as well as identification of the main capability requirements for the platform
A business case was carried out for each prototype based on main vectors of impact for users and operators considering the monetization of several revenue drivers
A shared mobility platform to monitor and manage shared mobility operations throughout the city, ensuring that public space is kept unobstructed and functional, and that e-scooters are properly parked.
