LISBOA, 31 de julho de 2019 – Já são conhecidos os nomeados aos prémios CEO em Investor Relations, CFO em Investor Relations e Investor Relations Officer no âmbito da 32ª edição do Investor Relations & Governance Awards (IRGAwards). A iniciativa, promovida pela Deloitte, irá distinguir as boas práticas no desenvolvimento do mercado de capitais em Portugal, numa cerimónia que decorrerá a 19 de setembro, no Convento do Beato, em Lisboa.
António Lagartixo, CEO da Deloitte, sublinha que “o reforço da confiança dos investidores continua a ser um dos aspetos mais relevantes no mercado de capitais português, e a este respeito considero que tem existido uma evolução com resultados claros neste domínio. Os IRGAwards são, por isso, no meu entender, um exercício muito relevante na promoção de práticas de transparência com o mercado de capitais e de reconhecimento de processos de transformação empresarial com impacto na nossa sociedade e economia.”

Umas vezes, as respostas resultam melhor, outras vezes, resultam menos bem. Mas o esforço de estar à altura tem estado geralmente presente, o que se tem traduzido num razoável fervilhar de inovação e criatividade” refere Vitor Bento, Presidente do Júri.
A lista de nomeados contém personalidades e empresas que contribuíram para a evolução do universo financeiro e empresarial português, ao longo de 2018. Para o seu apuramento é auscultado um vasto colégio eleitoral, composto por representantes de entidades que atuam no mercado financeiro e empresarial, cujas contribuições conduzem à formação das short-lists de nomeados, com base nas quais o júri fará a escolha final. O corpo de jurados é composto por Vítor Bento (Presidente), António Gomes Mota, António Saraiva, Clara Raposo, Duarte Pitta Ferraz, Esmeralda Dourado, João Moreira Rato, Luís Amado, Nuno Fernandes e Patrícia Teixeira Lopes.
Em 2019, os IRGAwards centram o debate no tema da liderança sinfónica (The Symphonic Leadership), ao criar um paralelismo entre os desafios de um líder empresarial na condução de uma equipa e os desafios de um maestro na direção de uma orquestra. Uma reflexão imposta pelo atual ambiente de negócios, caracterizado pela constante mudança e pela necessidade de resposta a desafios interdisciplinares, no qual os líderes de topo devem agir como um só.
