Já são conhecidos os nomeados da 29ª edição do Investor Relations & Governance Awards (IRG Awards) da Deloitte que, no dia 5 de julho, no Convento do Beato, irá premiar a excelência no mercado financeiro e empresarial português em 2015. Este ano serão ainda reconhecidas empresas não cotadas que se têm distinguido pelo seu desempenho, boas práticas e contributo para o desenvolvimento da economia portuguesa, através dos prémios Golden Company e Investidor do Ano.
“Nunca há prémios suficientes para valorizar o bom desempenho das organizações, de cuja atividade depende o desenvolvimento das pessoas, da economia e do país. Esta responsabilidade é partilhada pelas empresas cotadas e não cotadas. Neste segundo ano voltamos a reconhecer o valor destas organizações, constituindo elas próprios um exemplo entre os seus pares”, afirma Luís Magalhães, Managing Partner da Deloitte.

Da lista de nomeados para as sete categorias, constam personalidades e empresas que, com o seu exemplo, contribuíram para a evolução do universo financeiro e empresarial português. No seu apuramento foi auscultado um vasto colégio eleitoral, composto por representantes de organizações que atuam no mercado financeiro e empresarial, e homologadas por um corpo de jurados liderado por Manuel Alves Monteiro. Fazem ainda parte deste órgão deliberativo: Alberto de Castro, António Gomes Mota, António Saraiva, Esmeralda Dourado, João Duque, Jorge Coelho, Luís Amado, Patrícia Teixeira Lopes e Rui Rio. António Saraiva e Patrícia Teixeira Lopes são dois jurados estreantes desta edição.
Os prémios IRG Awards deste ano incluem ainda as categorias de Melhor CEO em Investor Relations, Melhor CFO em Investor Relations, Melhor IRO em Investor Relations, Melhor Relatório & Contas do Sector Financeiro e Melhor Relatório & Contas do Sector não Financeiro. Por deliberação direta do Júri será atribuído o prémio Lifetime Achievement em Mercados Financeiros à personalidade que evidencia uma carreia exemplar, de sucesso, dedicada à promoção da excelência e ao desenvolvimento do país.
