The Legal 500 international comparative guide for 2026 has been published and Deloitte Legal Iceland has received rankings in three categories – Tax, Commercial, Corporate and M&A and Dispute Resolution.

In the 2026 guide, Deloitte Legal received a Tier 1 ranking in Tax, Tier 2 in Commercial, Corporate and M&A and Tier 3 in Dispute Resolution. Furthermore, the firm recevied a full set of accolades: Lawyer & team quality, billing & efficiency, sector knowledge and client satiscation.

Our professionals also received special recognition in their category: 

  • Guðbjörg Þorsteinsdóttir as Leading Partner in Tax (the strongest partners in their field, leading on market-leading deals and endorsed by peers and clients alike).
  • Þórdís Bjarnadóttir as Next Generation Partner in Commercial, Corporate and M&A (junior partners with significant recognition from clients and peers in the market and key roles on multiple matters).

The EMEA guide covers over 80 countries and more than 2.700 law firms. The Legal 500 guide is regarded as one of the largest and prestigious insight into legal market.
