Case: HV Battery Remanufacturing and Stakeholder Communication Strategy

Summary

The remanufacturing of HV Batteries played a key part for the client to establish themselves within the circular economy of the future. Following a review, we developed a sustainability and communication strategy for external and internal stakeholders of the HV Battery remanufacturing business. To measure the impact of our strategy we also described the KPIs calculation and sustainability report requirements.  

Challenge

Overall, the client's strategy included anincreased focus on remanufacturing, particularly an HV Battery, which will playa key part within the circular economy of the future. The client had adefinitive need to devise a sustainability and communication strategy of theReman HV Battery in line with the overall ambitions set out by them as part oftheir Ambition 2039 goals.

Promoting circularity in the battery industry is crucial for sustainable progress and achieving broader environmental goals.

Solution

Our team devised a clear and shared vision of the sustainability strategy backed with requirements and dependencies for the HV Battery Remanufacturing business. We calculated key performance indicators (KPIs) to meet sustainability report standards and grounded the measurable impact of the strategy on our research. Additionally, we delivered a comprehensive communication roadmap that outlined the execution timeline, specific accountabilities, defined roles, communication channels, and critical success factors.
