デロイト トーマツ グループは、合同会社デロイト トーマツ（東京都千代田区、代表執行役：木村研一、以下「デロイト トーマツ」）が、炭素クレジットの案件評価及び創出・調達支援事業をはじめ、森林モニタリング等の自然資本デューデリジェンス、企業のサプライチェーン可視化に強みを持つ株式会社sustainacraft（東京都目黒区、代表取締役：末次浩詩）の全株式を2026年4月1日付で取得したことをお知らせします。株式会社sustainacraftは同日付で社名をデロイト トーマツ サステナクラフト株式会社（以下「DTSC」）へ変更し、デロイト トーマツの完全子会社としてデロイト トーマツ グループに参画しました。

DTSCは2021年10月に創業し、炭素クレジットの調達戦略策定から案件探索、調達・償却等の取引までを一貫して支援してきました。森林モニタリングなど自然資本領域のサービスを展開し、温室効果ガス（GHG）排出量の可視化を目指すサプライチェーンマネジメント（SCM）関連サービスの開発にも取り組んでいます。各国の政策・規制動向、投資家要請、カーボンクレジットに関する制度・実務に精通し、国内外における事業を通じて培ったネットワークを生かして、案件の形成・評価・実行を支援する高度な実務知見を有します。加えて、衛星リモートセンシングのデータ活用をはじめエンジニアリング面に強みを持ち、自然資本の状況把握と検証可能性の向上に寄与してきました。

Deloitte Tohmatsu Acquires All Shares of sustainacraft, a Company with Strengths in Carbon Credit Project Evaluation and Creation/Procurement Support

Launching one-stop support for corporate decarbonization transitions and sustainable resource procurement by providing services such as carbon credit evaluation, forest monitoring, and supply chain visualization, leveraging satellite remote sensing and other technologies

Tokyo, Japan, April 1, 2026 — Deloitte Tohmatsu Group announces that Deloitte Tohmatsu LLC (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Executive Officer: Kenichi Kimura; hereinafter “Deloitte Tohmatsu”) has acquired all shares of sustainacraft Inc. (Meguro-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Hiroshi Suetsugu), a company with strengths in carbon credit project evaluation and support for credit creation and procurement, natural capital due diligence such as forest monitoring, and corporate supply chain visualization, effective April 1, 2026. On the same date, sustainacraft Inc. changed its name to Deloitte Tohmatsu Sustainacraft Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “DTSC”) and joined the Deloitte Tohmatsu Group as a wholly owned subsidiary.

Founded in October 2021, DTSC has provided end-to-end support from developing carbon credit procurement strategies and sourcing projects through to transactions such as procurement and retirement. The company has also delivered services in the natural capital domain, including forest monitoring, and has been developing supply chain management (SCM) services aimed at visualizing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Well versed in policy and regulatory trends across countries, investor expectations, and systems and practices related to carbon credits, DTSC leverages domestic and international networks and possesses advanced practical expertise to support project origination, evaluation, and execution. In addition, the company has strong engineering capabilities, including the use of satellite remote sensing data, contributing to improved understanding and verifiability of natural capital conditions.

The Deloitte Tohmatsu Group provides advisory and consulting services to support companies’ sustainability transformations across a broad spectrum—from strategy, governance, risk management, disclosure, transition planning, and operational transformation to data and technology enablement. In the sustainability and climate domain, we aim to achieve both enhanced corporate value and the resolution of social issues through decarbonization strategies, GHG accounting and reduction roadmaps, the formulation and implementation of transition plans, and transformation support including supply chains.

For Japanese companies, decarbonization efforts increasingly require not only the advancement of GHG measurement and disclosure, but also the execution of real emissions reductions and the concretization of transition plans across entire supply chains. While more companies are considering transitions that leverage carbon credits, it is not easy to execute an end-to-end approach—from developing an appropriate procurement strategy to project sourcing and evaluation, contracting and retirement, and operations including monitoring—amid evolving schemes, quality criteria, and market dynamics.

To address these challenges, we will integrate the Deloitte Tohmatsu Group’s consulting capabilities—cultivated in strategy, governance, and disclosure support—with DTSC’s practical expertise in carbon credit procurement, knowledge of the Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM), and data engineering technologies such as satellite remote sensing, thereby translating clients’ transition plans into actionable roadmaps. By strengthening a structure that partners with clients through post-implementation operational support, we will enhance the transparency and verifiability of initiatives and help improve both the speed and effectiveness of the decarbonization transition.

Moreover, against the backdrop of advancing decarbonization policy and heightened geopolitical risks, companies are expected to build sustainable and resilient supply chains. The Deloitte Tohmatsu Group will leverage DTSC’s engineering technologies such as remote sensing to support visualization of corporate supply chains and quantitative assessment of impacts on management.

With DTSC’s participation, the Deloitte Tohmatsu Group will strengthen its support framework in the sustainability and climate domain through the following initiatives:

- Fusion of engineering technologies, including remote sensing, with management advisory and consulting services
We will deploy advanced analytics capabilities—validated by recognition such as the Best Paper award at NeurIPS 2022 (h5-index = 309) and runner-up in the NEDO Satellite Data Challenge (2025)—within the sustainability and climate advisory/consulting services provided by the Deloitte Tohmatsu Group. By combining the expertise and technologies of both organizations, we will enhance the precision and executability of proposals related to decarbonization and resource circularity, while also promoting co-development of platforms and digital services that contribute to a circular economy and the creation of new businesses.

- Expansion of support for emissions credit transactions (JCM, VCS, REDD+, etc.) and talent development
In addition to supporting Japanese companies with scheme compliance and business design, we will expand our support to include stakeholder coordination and project promotion in counterpart countries, thereby providing broad support for Japanese companies’ emissions credit initiatives and transactions both domestically and overseas. We will also accumulate knowledge through project delivery and use it to drive cross-organizational knowledge sharing and talent development.

- Enhanced transparency and verifiability through forest monitoring
By leveraging satellite and other data for forest monitoring, we will advance natural capital due diligence and project evaluation/monitoring, improving transparency and verifiability of initiatives.

- Advancing upstream support in natural capital and forestry
We will combine DTSC’s expertise in real-world data and monitoring with upstream consulting—such as assessments, risk/opportunity analyses, and strategy and governance design related to natural capital and forests—to enhance the effectiveness and persuasiveness of our recommendations.

- End-to-end support from strategy through execution and operations
Beyond upstream concept design, we will provide continuous operational support—covering monitoring, data operations, and embedding of business processes—partnering with clients through the “implement and iterate” phase of transformation.

- Strengthening SCM services (including data/system integration and co-development)
We will connect knowledge in carbon credits and sustainability visualization with data and systems to strengthen services in the SCM domain, including co-development, and support responses to geopolitical risks and the securing of suppliers in line with sustainability regulations.
