Takeshi Sunago joined DT Legal Japan in June 2026 after he served over for 20 years as a judge.
As a judge, he was mainly in charge of civil litigation and had extensive experience in various types of civil cases, including large-scale and difficult cases.
In addition, he was engaged in administrative work at the Judicial System Department of the Minister's Secretariat of the Ministry of Justice, including drafting legal revisions and policies related to the judicial system.
At the Tokyo Family Court, he took charge of international family cases and Hague Convention cases, and also served as a researcher on the 2022 Judicial Research: Study of Trial and Judgment of Disputes over Child Custody.
