Practice
Takashi Tanazawa is a partner of Labor & Employment practice. He also leads Dispute Resolution Practice. Takashi provides clients with advice on broad labor and employment issues and handles wide range of disputes; including those on labor and employment, contracts, tort such as product liability, and consumer. He also advices on various types of domestic and cross-border contracts, fraudulent activities, and family issues. Recently, he provides advices on platform business, utilization of personal data, etc.
The services he focuses on are:
- Advise on labor and employment issue such as ordinary dismissal, punitive dismissal and dismissal due to reorganization, various harassment, employees’ mental health care, industrial accidents, disciplinary actions;
- Draft or amend work rules and other rules on employment relationship, draft or review employment, secondment and other agreements on hiring;
- Handle labor and employment disputes. Advice on collective bargaining
- Represent clients on various types of complex disputes, including contract disputes, PL disputes, tort disputes, consumer disputes, and disputes on IT, construction, and life science. Support clients on litigation and arbitration held outside of Japan;
- Advice client on domestic and cross border transactions;
- Advice client and/or conduct investigation on employees’ fraudulent activities;
- Advice on Renewable energies, Platform business, and Utilization of personal data; and
- Draft and/or execute will, advice on family disputes.
