Before assuming his current role, Shinji worked at a private-sector think tank specializing in business transformation and technology-related initiatives. He has led projects primarily for pharmaceutical and medical device companies, including mid-term business planning, management transformation, global organizational design, digital strategy development, and organization building. He has also been involved in a clinical research program focused on next-generation healthcare ecosystems for patients with Parkinson’s disease, as well as supporting the operation of a consortium aimed at addressing societal challenges in the healthcare sector.
Shinji supervised publications including Data-Driven Life Brilliance, which explores the future of healthcare, and Preparing Pharmaceutical Companies for the Post-COVID Era, which examines the future of the pharmaceutical industry. He has also been featured in interview articles in DIAMOND Harvard Business Review and is a frequent speaker and contributor to industry publications.
