Kyoko Morita joined DT Legal Japan after having worked for law firms and a private entity as an in-house counsel. She has taken care of general corporate matters, labor-related matters and litigations. She has also been involved in cross-border matters and legal consultation about the Act against Unjustifiable Premiums and Misleading Representation, the Anti-monopoly Act, and the Act on the Protection of Personal Information.
Major matters that she has handled are as follows;
- General Corporate matters: Preparation and review of various contracts (Japanese and English) such as service/consignment agreement, OEM contract, NDA, etc., preparation of corporate documents regarding SH/BOD meeting (proposal/consent form, meeting minutes, etc.) and legal consultation about the Act against Unjustifiable Premiums and Misleading Representation, Anti-monopoly Act, and the Act on the Protection of Personal Information.
- Labor-related matters: Preparation and review of employment contracts and worker dispatch agreements, representation in labor litigations and tribunals, legal consultation on disciplinary actions, and review of internal rules.
- Litigations: Representation in cases about the product liability/tort, and other civil cases
