Kenichi is a certified public accountant. He joined Tohmatsu & Co. (currently Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu LLC) in 1991, and rejoined in 2000. From 2015 to 2021, he served as Risk Advisory Business Leader of Deloitte Tohmatsu Group and an executive member of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu LLC. From 2019 to 2021, he served as CEO of Deloitte Tohmatsu Risk Advisory Co., Ltd. and Managing Partner of Deloitte Tohmatsu Cyber LLC.
From June 2021 to May 2022, he served as Deloitte Tohmatsu Group Clients & Industries Leader; and he holds Deloitte Tohmatsu Group CEO position since June 2022. He holds Deloitte Tohmatsu LLC Representative Executive Officer position since December 2025.
