Life at Deloitte in Edinburgh

OUR LOCATIONS

As the second largest financial centre in the UK, it’s no surprise that we have many influential financial services clients on our books. From banking to asset management, pensions and insurance, we have it all covered.

Why join our Edinburgh office?

Home to the incredible Edinburgh Festival, Scotland’s capital has so much to offer its residents. From the vibrant restaurants to culture and history, there’s always something new to explore in this beautiful city.

Located just 4.5 hours from London by train, with easy access to other major UK cities as well as an international airport, this compact, scenic city has everything you could need. It’s easy to walk around, so on weekends you’ll be able to visit art galleries, museums or botanic gardens, ghost tours, cafes or pubs- whatever takes your fancy! If you love the outdoors you’re in luck, because the city is also close to the Scottish Highlands, which are full of stunning lochs and walking trails.

Our Haymarket office is based in the city centre, and designed specifically for flexible working. With collaborative working spaces, an open, transparent environment and the latest technology, they provide a comfortable place for our people to work together. As well as bookable meeting rooms we have relaxation and social spaces where people can meet up to discuss business- or just catch up!

Sustainability

The Haymarket Building has been designed to a very high specification and will be targeting BREEAM 'Excellent' certification. This is the highest level of sustainable accreditation and is used to specify and measure the performance of buildings, ensuring that projects meet sustainability goals and continue to perform as they should. This will support our net zero targets and Deloitte's WorldClimate objectives

What do our people say?

“From the Fringe Festival to Hogmanay, the incredible underground streets, and 112 parks, there’s always something to explore. You can access the beaches and breath-taking Scottish countryside in less than 30 minutes, and pretty much everyone here has a commute no longer than 15 minutes. Working in Edinburgh offers the very best of both worlds: a fantastic set of colleagues working on critical challenges for our clients and arguably the most spectacular city in the world.”

"I love that Edinburgh is small enough to be able to walk most places, yet it is a vibrant and cosmopolitan city packed with restaurants and events. Our office is located in the heart of the city facing the historic Edinburgh Castle. Here we benefit from sharing workspace with many parts of Deloitte, creating a diverse and exciting work experience."
