Belfast launches first robotics academy

The academy in Northern Ireland is welcoming new technology

 

The use of software robots to automate repetitive processes (RPA) is something more and more businesses are interested in.

Our pioneering academy gives people the opportunity to retrain in this new and exciting area. We worked in partnership with Northern Ireland’s Department for the Economy (DfE) and Belfast Metropolitan College to create the 11-week course. It is now part of the Assured Skills Programme, an employment initiative funded by the DfE.

We are not just bridging the digital skills gap in Belfast either, we have had colleagues from as far afield as Saudi Arabia join our academy. We are helping to create a pipeline of highly-skilled talent. We are really rather proud of that.
