Surrounded by Scottish countryside, the port town of Aberdeen is the centre of the North Sea’s offshore oil and gas production. We work with influential global companies in textile production, agriculture, brewing, fishing and more.

Changing lives in the local community

One of the many ways we make an impact in Aberdeen is by supporting the local community.
 

Our charity partner The Foyer is a successful social enterprise working to support individuals in communities in the North East of Scotland. The Foyer helps people build confidence and develop their skills and talents to make major and lasting changes in their lives.

They provide accommodation and support to former homeless and at risk young people, and deliver linked-up services to people of all ages. These include education, training, mentoring, counselling, employment support and health improvement initiatives.

Our people are involved in many ways, from running CV workshops to meeting with young people, to supporting the Prince’s Trust groups. Being able to make an impact like this feels like a huge privilege, and is something that anyone who joins us in Aberdeen can be part of.

Street art festival 'nuart'

As part of Aberdeen's 2019 street art festival 'nuart', the outside of our office was transformed by contemporary artist Ernest Zacharevic. He painted a young boy clambering up the side of the office where a couple of giant seagulls are also perched (an all too familiar sight in Aberdeen). The mural is the largest work to date in the multi-award winning festival.

A great place to be

The work we do goes beyond traditional accountancy, to include consultancy, transactions, employment services and more. There are around 100 of us in the office, and we have people from all over the world here. Aberdeen has seen a huge amount of regeneration recently, so it is a place people are keen to relocate to. We have had significant investments in the harbour, the airport and our new exhibition centre.

The county (Aberdeenshire) stretches from ‘one of the last great places on earth’ (the Cairngorms) to ‘one of the world’s top-rated coastlines’ (so says National Geographic).

If sport is your thing we have some of the best golf courses in the world, rivers filled with salmon and trout, and five ski centres, not to mention 165 miles of coastline and no less than 263 castles to explore. If you love seafood, there is plenty of that on the menu too.
