Depending of which area you join, you might focus on a different specialisms. Are you data-driven and analytical? In our team we use mathematics and statistics to analyse and predict risk, as well as its impact on businesses. Our Actuarial Insurance and Banking teams offer a variety of career options within the UK, in our London, Edinburgh, Bristol, Manchester and Belfast offices. Roles are available across our three specialisms: Actuarial Insurance, The Capital Markets Group or Banking Analytics & Financial Resource Management.

  • Actuarial Insurance: Our Actuarial Insurance business is known for delivering technical quality and thought leadership that drives the industry forward. Our teams work in both life and general insurance, and our actuarial services attract everyone from large multi-national insurers and Lloyd's market syndicates to small insurers who don’t employ their own actuaries. 
  • The Capital Markets Group (CMG): We specialise in predicting how future UK and international economic markets will change, which is known as modelling. As part of the CMG team you will be involved in the more technical aspects of actuarial and banking work, requiring high levels of quantitative skills to solve challenging problems. The team’s also responsible for XSG, which is the firm’s economic scenario modelling suite for offering different potential economic situations. You’ll also learn to advise on more-typical life insurance projects, so expect to gain broad actuarial experience.
  • Banking Analytics & Financial Resource Management: We help world-leading banks to maximise their data to solve complex business challenges. It’s a discipline that calls for deep mathematics and statistics knowledge, as well as intermediate to advanced programming skills, which you’ll learn while you’re here.

You will support with customising and integrating these platforms for clients, to help transform their operations. Human Capital

  • From getting paid to booking time off and much more, HR technology sits behind a lot of the processes we take for granted in the workplace. In the Human Capital team, we work with some of the biggest cloud software providers, including Oracle, SAP and Workday, as well as exciting newer technologies, to deliver these services for clients. We design and build online HR systems that make work simpler for their people, from the day they join right through their career at the company.

Enterprise Resource Planning

  • Every large organisation needs to keep track of its money, its supplies and its technology. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is the software that brings all of this together in one place.
  • Many organisations still rely on older systems that run on their own computers and servers. We help them move to modern cloud-based platforms, using technology from SAP, Oracle, Workday and Microsoft Dynamics.

  • You'll support clients to improve their financial planning, through helping them with forecasting, reporting, and analytics. You'll do this by implementing modern finance processes, data platforms, and AI-enabled solutions. You’ll help companies to improve decision-making, efficiency, and long-term business performance. This role is ideal for those with an interest in technology and business, who are curious and enjoy solving complex problems. You'll learn how robust finance functions can help businesses to achieve their goals- and support them to do this.

Finance Strategy

  • You’ll help organisations with finance transformation strategies that will support both their business needs and tech goals. You’ll team up with people from all parts of an organisation to rethink how it manages its money. You'll help to build finance teams that run smoothly, making a real difference to how that business grows.

Global Business Services (GBS)

  • From finance to HR, IT, supply chains and more, large organisations require lots of departments to operate. You'll help bring these teams together into shared services that support the whole business, so everything runs more smoothly, adapts faster and costs less. You'll also use technology and data to improve real experiences, helping employees get faster answers, keeping customers happy and spotting issues before they become problems.
