Social Impact

Embedding social impact into our everyday

Building better futures

Our purpose is to make an impact that matters – for our people, our clients, and society. Social impact is a huge part of how we bring this purpose to life every single day, by using our skills, capabilities, and networks to make a positive impact on our communities.

For us, that means building better futures through a focus on digital inclusion, sustainability, and skills for the future. And we’re taking tangible steps, together with our clients, to help create a healthier, fairer planet and society: through the work we do and the way we deliver it.

Whether that’s collaborating on solutions to society’s most complex problems or offering volunteering opportunities and targeted pro-bono support. We're also transforming our business and operations to deliver on our net-zero transition and supporting our clients to succeed in a lower-carbon world.

We believe social impact is not just the right thing to do - it’s also good business. It helps us attract and retain the best people, deepen our client relationships, and build a more resilient and successful business for the future.

Making an Impact Together

In FY25, we worked with over 80 schools and charities across the UK, impacting the futures of over 660,000 people.

Our colleagues dedicated over 55,500 hours to volunteering initiatives and contributed over 14,000 hours of pro bono work, leveraging their skills and expertise to make an impact that matters.

Through our people’s fundraising efforts, we raised over £1 million, contributing to a total community investment exceeding £10 million. This investment reflects the value of time and resources dedicated to supporting our strategy.

Our commitment to responsible business practices underscores our dedication to making a tangible difference in the communities where we live and work. To learn more about our social impact, get in touch at responsiblebusiness@deloitte.co.uk.
