Annual Review

“Welcome to our Annual Review for FY23.

“Over the last four years as CEO of Deloitte, I’ve noticed a shift in the way people talk about the role of business in society.

“There are greater expectations around the responsibility that businesses should be taking to address the issues that matter - like reskilling workforces, supporting inclusive economic growth and tackling climate change. Meeting these expectations is now part of the fabric of being a progressive business.

“At Deloitte, we seek to do this by living our purpose - to make an impact that matters. This is at the heart of all the decisions we make, the work we do and how we look after our people. Our Annual Review brings this purpose to life and demonstrates what we’re doing to meet society’s expectations of us and how we make a difference across all regions and nations of the UK.

“FY23 has been a year of change and economic uncertainty, with a cost-of-living crisis, rising geopolitical tensions and an ongoing climate emergency. Throughout all of this we’ve stayed focused on supporting our clients to build resilience and navigate complex challenges, and used our expertise and resources to make a positive impact on the communities around us. We’ve invested in our capabilities, in employment, digital inclusion and education, and used the breadth of our skills and services to drive growth.

“In the year ahead, our focus and priority will continue to be on the issues that matter - to our clients, our people and our society.”
