The Deloitte Fast 50 celebrates businesses that aren’t just moving quickly, they’re tuned in to the signals that matter.

The programme ranks and recognises New Zealand’s fastest-growing businesses across the Fast 50 and Master of Growth indices.

Deloitte Fast 50 index

For businesses operating for three or more years with revenue of $1 million in FY24, achieving rapid growth and ready to see what’s next. Entries for 2026 are now closed.

Master of Growth index

Recognising established businesses achieving sustained growth through capability and long-term focus, with revenue of $5 million in FY22. Entries for 2026 are now closed.

What were the 2025 Fast 50 criteria?

The 2025 Fast 50 index recognised businesses demonstrating significant growth over the last three years, determined by revenue growth percentage. To qualify, businesses needed to:

be a New Zealand registered business, trading for a minimum of three years
have revenue of $1 million or above in FY23
submit independently prepared financial statements for FY23 and FY25
supply export revenue for FY23 and FY25, where applicable

Fast 50 entry criteria

The Fast 50 index recognises businesses demonstrating significant growth over the last three years. For the 2026 programme, businesses needed revenue of $1 million or above in FY24 and independently prepared financial statements for FY24 and FY26.

Master of Growth entry criteria

The Master of Growth index recognises businesses achieving sustained growth over the last five years. For the 2026 programme, businesses needed revenue of $5 million or above in FY22 and independently prepared financial statements for FY22 and FY26.

How are the indices determined?

Businesses are ranked according to percentage revenue growth. Regional category winners will be announced on 15 October, followed by the national Fast 50 and Master of Growth indices on 13 November.
