The Deloitte Fast 50 celebrates businesses that aren’t just moving quickly, they’re tuned in to the signals that matter.

The programme ranks and recognises New Zealand’s fastest-growing businesses across the Fast 50 and Master of Growth indices.

Entries are open now and close on Friday 28 August 2026.

Regional celebrations announcing this year’s regional category winners and index qualifiers will be held across the country on 14 October, ahead of the national announcement of the full indices on 12 November.

Deloitte Fast 50 index

For businesses operating for three or more years with revenue of $1 million in FY24, achieving rapid growth and ready to see what’s next.

Master of Growth index

Recognising established businesses achieving sustained growth through capability and long-term focus with revenue of $5 million in FY22.

What were the 2025 Fast 50 criteria?

The 2025 Fast 50 index recognised businesses demonstrating significant growth over the last three years, determined by revenue growth percentage. To qualify, businesses needed to:

be a New Zealand registered business, trading for a minimum of three years
have revenue of $1 million or above in FY23
submit independently prepared financial statements for FY23 and FY25
supply export revenue for FY23 and FY25, where applicable

What were the 2025 Fast 50 categories?

Fast 50 entry criteria

The Fast 50 index recognises businesses demonstrating significant growth over the last three years. To enter, you need revenue of $1 million or above in FY24 and independently prepared financial statements for FY24 and FY26. Entries open now.

Master of Growth entry criteria

The Master of Growth index recognises businesses with sustained growth over the past five years. To enter, you need revenue of $5 million or above in FY22 and independently prepared financial statements for FY22 and FY26. Entries open now.

How are the indices determined?

Businesses are ranked according to percentage revenue growth. The 2026 Fast 50 and Master of Growth rankings and full indices will be revealed at our national celebration on 12 November.

What does the entry process entail?

The process is quick and straightforward! Simply complete our online entry form and submit your independently prepared financial statements for FY24 and FY26 (Fast 50) or FY22 and FY26 (Master of Growth). After you’ve entered, we’ll visit your business for a face-to-face meeting to help us better understand your business and how you’re achieving such great results. The information we gather from this meeting is collated anonymously and used to identify trends and develop insights regarding the successes and challenges that New Zealand businesses are facing.
