Sarah Haley is a senior manager in Deloitte Risk & Financial Advisory practice with more than 15 years of experience in financial services, public policy, legal and regulatory compliance, and environmental and social risk management. She specializes in environmental, social, and governance strategy design, development, implementation, and oversight within regulated risk and control environments.
Haley’s expertise includes integrating environmental, social, and governance considerations into existing control frameworks and helping commercial companies evolve traditional shareholder-primary business models to multi-stakeholder business models that incorporate nonfinancial performance standards into the firm's accounting metrics. She is a subject matter expert in the areas of climate, nature, human rights, and environmental and social risk management for the financial services industry.
Haley holds a Master of Business (MBA) from Drake University and is a Ph.D. of Public Policy candidate at the University of North Carolina - Charlotte where her research focuses on the societal and economic impacts of climate change.
