Detecting Medicaid fraud
A state Medicaid program needed help detecting fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA). Deloitte delivered a Software-as-a-Service solution featuring artificial intelligence/machine learning and graph analytics to detect and resolve potentially concerning transactions, helping the state reduce fraudulent payments.
Determining grant allocation
A federal health agency funds an annual grant program to help reduce hypertension, illness, deaths, and health disparities in a southeastern state. Deloitte developed an effective solution to identify specific areas where needs were greatest, allowing the state to deliver healthcare where it matters most.
Understanding health disparities
To support the implementation of a federal payment innovation model, Deloitte collaborated with a federal health agency to discover important connections between health outcomes, social determinants of health (SDoH), and health disparities in a northeastern state. This effort helped determine funding for the most critical needs in support of citizen health.
Streamlining declassification
Deloitte supported a federal government agency in developing machine learning models to help ease the process and reduce the time required to review hundreds of thousands of electronic records each year.
