Inclusive leadership and culture 

We seek individuals who bring diverse strengths and perspectives, including effective communication, leadership, team-building skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to continuous learning and growth. Our leaders are committed to fostering an inclusive environment, and empowered through ongoing training and development, knowledge and tools. We offer a range of training programs focused on unconscious bias, inclusive leadership, and cultural competency, and mentorship programs to support the career development of equity seeking groups within Deloitte. 

Employee resource groups (ERGs) 

Our ERGs play a crucial role in promoting inclusion within Deloitte Canada, providing support, networking opportunities, and a platform for employees to share their experiences and insights. Find out more here (LINK TO ERG PAGE)

Accessibility, accommodation, and flexibility 

Creating an inclusive workplace means creating an inclusive future that focuses on abilities and skills. This includes providing accommodations and ensuring our policies and practices are equitable. We also recognize the importance of work-life balance and offer flexible work arrangements to accommodate the diverse needs of our employees. 

Inclusion allyship:

We train our leaders and practitioners on issues faced by our Equity Seeking Groups (ESGs), and how they can best support and be an ally for their peers.

Community engagement and partnerships

We actively engage with and support diverse communities through partnerships, volunteerism, and sponsorships. Our goal is to make a positive impact both within and outside of Deloitte. 

Our programs:

We have several initiatives that enable us to deliver on our talent aspirations on inclusion:

  • Nation-building: The Nation Building practice has an Indigenous-led approach that draws on the leadership, capability, and experience of our practitioners. Learn more about this Service Area here.
  • R8dius: Deloitte also entered a joint venture with Kitsaki Management, with the hopes that others will join, to create R8dius, Canada’s first Indigenous majority-owned professional services, technology implementation, and managed services business designed to widen the circle of opportunities for Indigenous Peoples to lead in the professional services space and engage in sustainable partnerships across Canada.
  • Elevate: A program dedicated to enhancing the diversity and advancement of experienced professionals across Canada. Learn more about the program here
  • Bloom Scholarship: A scholarship program offered to Canadian students representing Indigenous, People with Disabilities and Neurodiversity, and Black where selected students are awarded a one-time $5000 scholarship and the opportunity to complete a paid work term in Deloitte.
