How to Create a Global Tax Operating Model

Nzyme’s Approach:
Nzyme collaborated with the client’s Tax team to design an intensive two-day session, aimed at addressing all the critical components needed to create a unified Global Tax Operating Model. After aligning with the client’s Global Tax Leader on our approach, we invited 21 Tax leaders from across the organization to participate in the session. To minimize unnecessary CO2 emissions from international travel and optimize time, six Tax leaders from the U.S. joined remotely.
The Nzyme environment, designed for hyper collaboration, is equipped with 70 cameras, 45 screens, and 120 microphones, enabling seamless hybrid participation even on complex issues involving multiple stakeholders. This advanced setup allowed for highly productive, real-time engagement, regardless of location.
By the end of day two, the Tax team had collectively developed a comprehensive plan for the creation and implementation of the Global Tax Operating Model. The session produced clear alignment across global stakeholders and a concrete path forward.
