Lory is a partner in the Mergers, Acquisitions, and Restructuring practice, focused exclusively in the Life Sciences and Health Care industry. She has more than 15 years of public accounting experience at Deloitte and has been a dedicated M&A professional for more than 10 years. Lory has specific experience in advising financial and strategic buyers and sellers on many aspects of acquisitions and divestitures. She has served clients in a wide range of sectors within the life sciences and health care industries including for-profit and not-for-profit acute care hospitals, home health, hospice care, skilled nursing and long-term care facilities, physician practices, physical therapy, urgent care networks, behavioral health, PBMs, and specialty pharmacies. Lory is based in the Charlotte, NC office and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Rick is a partner in the US Life Sciences and Health Care (LSHC) mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring practice, serving as the M&A LSHC data analytics leader and the M&A advisory talent leader. Rick has nearly 20 years of experience with Deloitte and has specific experience in advising financial and strategic buyers and sellers on many aspects of acquisitions and divestitures including due diligence, accounting structuring, financial reporting, and pro forma financial statements. He has led domestic and global M&A teams on transactions of varying sizes. Rick has significant experience in the LSHC industry with a focus on pharma services, health tech, and health care providers.

Louise is a principal with Deloitte Consulting LLP’s mergers and acquisitions (M&A) practice where she advises life science executives through the M&A lifecycle to transform and position their organization for future growth. She has more than 10 years of consulting experience at Deloitte and has led over 30 global transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, spin-offs and operations restructuring strategies. She has advised strategic and private equity clients on sell-side and buy-side activities across the entire M&A lifecycle. Her focus areas include program management, Day 1 readiness, Command Center setup, Day 1 / Day 2 planning and execution, synergy identification and planning, transitional service agreements, and legal entity review and transition. She has also led large transformational programs based in North America, Europe, and Asia.

Dr. Asif Dhar is the Deloitte Global Consulting Services Life Sciences & Health Care Industry Leader, guiding the overall strategic direction for Deloitte's global consulting services in the life sciences and health care sectors. With over two decades of experience, He has been a trusted strategic advisor to senior leaders across governments, life sciences and health care clients, as well as technology and consumer firms, reinventing wellness, addressing disease, responding to pandemics and tackling health inequities. He has been a key architect of ConvergeHealth™ and a founding member of the Future of Health™ initiative, which explores how disruptive technologies will transform the health industry to become more consumer-focused, personalized, preventative, equitable, and sustainable. He is an executive sponsor for Deloitte’s US Health Equity Institute, promoting longevity and health equity to patients and families around the world. Dr. Dhar has a profound interest in cancer that goes well beyond his day-to-day business responsibilities at Deloitte. He holds an MD from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Chris is a partner and the leader of Deloitte’s US Life Sciences M&A practice in addition to the Global Life Sciences & Healthcare Financial Advisory leader. Chris has more than 20 years of experience with Deloitte and has experience in advising financial and strategic buyers and sellers on many aspects of acquisitions and divestitures including: due diligence, accounting structuring, financial reporting, and pro forma financial statements. He has led domestic and global M&A teams on transactions of varying sizes. Chris has significant experience in life sciences and has worked on transactions in the areas of pharmaceuticals, pharmaceutical distribution, orthopedics, medical and surgical products, spine products, diagnostics and lab services. In addition, Chris presents at various industry and technical seminars sponsored by Deloitte and external organizations, and has contributed to Deloitte-sponsored health care publications.
