His background includes work on energy transition, new energy strategies, focused on sustainable products, lower emissions, renewable energies, and circularity. Previously serving as the US Consulting Chemicals Marketplace Leader at Deloitte Consulting LLP, David has drawn on his deep sector knowledge to research and author a range of thought leadership on topics such as workforce, digital transformation, and the future of materials and chemicals. His wide breadth of experience encompasses business strategies, innovation, energy transition, digital transformation, supply chain, and manufacturing.

Robert is a Managing Director with Deloitte Consulting LLP and advises clients globally in the chemicals and specialty materials sector with a focus on strategy, innovation, and leading company transformations. He has more than 30 years of chemical industry experience, including 28 years in the private sector—first as a researcher, and then, as an executive at large multinationals and late-stage startups.
