Kelly Irvin is a Client Relationship Executive within Deloitte’s Energy and Chemicals practice, bringing over 15 years of industry experience. In her role, Kelly has responsibility for serving as a trust advisor to clients on industry trends, innovation and transformation opportunities, and driving profitable growth to help clients execute on their most complex and strategic priorities.
Prior to joining Deloitte, Kelly spent her career with Solvay/Syensqo in a variety of roles. Most recently she served a Global Sales and Business Development Manager supporting manufacturing and R&I efforts in Asia while driving profitable growth and providing sustainable solutions to customers in the Americas and EMEA. Prior to sales, Kelly’s experience was largely in operations driving large scale transformation, growth, and cost reduction efforts. She served as the Integration Director for chemicals following Solvay’s acquisition of Cytec and was the NA Supply Chain Manager for Solvay’s Oil and Gas and Industrial businesses, responsible for driving an end-to-end supply chain and digital transformation. Kelly’s experience at Solvay also included M&A, operations management, turnaround management, restructuring, ERP implementation, and process and production engineering. Kelly’s roles have spanned many parts of the energy and chemicals value chain on a global scale.
With a passion for leadership development in STEM, Kelly has mentored emerging talent through both leadership development programs and community outreach including as a volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters. Kelly recently served on the Penn State Alumni Association’s Board of Directors and was awarded Penn State Chemical Engineering’s Early in Career Alumni Achievement Award in 2019.
Kelly holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University. She currently resides in Philadelphia, PA.
