As a tax consultant at Deloitte, you’ll gain hands-on experience working with some of the world’s most dynamic organizations. You’ll help clients understand and navigate the tax implications of business decisions, transactions, and global operations. Managing taxes is a critical part of an effective business strategy.

What will you get to do?

  • Work with clients, building a relationship as a trusted tax specialist and adviser—the “go-to” tax professional.
  • Collaborate daily as part of high-performing teams, identifying potential approaches to address complex tax issues through research, use of cutting-edge technology, and consultation with other team members.
  • Research tax regulations, understanding the applicable tax implications for specific clients and making recommendations based on your findings.

Bachelor of Science/Business Administration or Master of Science in Accounting or Taxation. CPA exam-eligible before beginning full-time employment.

Transfer pricing is a multidisciplinary field that integrates economics, business, and tax principles in the evaluation of global intercompany transactions.

What will you get to do?

  • Work with clients to help them analyze how to address transfer pricing rules around the world while, at the same time, decreasing their global tax burden.
  • Help clients establish integrated global strategies for managing the issues related to funding the development of valuable intangible properties, providing efficient intragroup financing and centralized treasury management and moving of goods and services across borders.

Undergraduate or advanced degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, International Relations, or a related field

Managing taxes, and using technology to do so, is a critical part of an effective business strategy.

What will you get to do?

  • Help clients address some of their key challenges in the dynamic tax technology environment.
  • Interview clients, participating in client workshops, documenting results from workshops, analyzing process and tax technology requirements.
  • Research tax technology issues, and implement process and tax technology solutions.

Bachelor of Science/Business Administration, Master of Science in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field

Apply legal* acumen and experience to help clients navigate complex tax laws and make informed business decisions.

What will you get to do?

  • Research tax law and draft technical memos or opinions.
  • Advise on tax positions in controversy, preparing business and individual federal and state tax returns and understanding the applicable tax implications for specific clients.

Developing tax-aligned compensation and benefits programs to address global and domestic needs is a critical component of an effective business strategy.

  • Work with clients to help them improve their global talent strategies, programs, and functions.
  • Assist clients with developing business strategies, processes, and technologies that affect their staff and operations on a worldwide scale.

Launch internship
Deloitte’s Launch internship is an 8–10 week program that gives students the opportunity to explore a career in Tax by working across multiple specialized teams. You’ll gain hands-on client experience and build your professional network through mentorship, training, and real-world engagements. Prepare to be immersed in a supportive and collaborative environment designed to help you grow, develop foundational skills, and discover your path in Tax.

Our traditional Tax internship gives you the opportunity to focus on one specialized area of tax, working closely with a dedicated team throughout your internship. This experience lets you build in-depth knowledge and contribute to client engagements within a single service line. You’ll receive mentorship, hands-on training, and a strong foundation for a career in tax at Deloitte.
