Jessica Gilbert

One thing about me is that I am not a fan of being complacent. I always want to learn and stay up to date with recent and innovative technology. I am thankful to be at an organization where I have had opportunities to pursue trainings and certifications.

Consulting has been a passion of mine, and I had a goal of building a career at Deloitte. As I looked toward that, I felt that I should try to stand out and do something that would set myself apart from others. I raised my hand for projects that I thought would help contribute to my professional growth. When I saw opportunities to earn certifications, showcasing my knowledge and training, I dove into them. Eventually, I felt that my plan of working towards my goal worked because after interviewing, I was offered a position at Deloitte.

I feel that Deloitte invests in growth opportunities for me, which has made such an impact on my career. With my passion for learning, I earned a certification in Cyber Cloud Security through the Deloitte Certified Program. The knowledge and experience I gained boosted my confidence and made me feel like an asset in new and exciting ways for my teams. I feel like a “go-to” person and I love sharing my knowledge with others. I am passionate about building my relationships and trust with my clients, so I look forward to adding more industry certifications to show that I have not only experience with security tools, but the security tools within my clients’ industries.
