Ron is a senior financial executive with significant accomplishments in global businesses, including public and private equity-backed organizations. He creates high-performance teams and builds enterprise value with hands-on experience in acquisitions, JVs, turnarounds, strategy, risk management, and complex negotiations.
While at Deloitte, Ron has served businesses in various industries including energy and oil field services, healthcare, manufacturing including high technology, agriculture, and commodities.
Previously, Ron was the vice president (VP) and chief financial officer (CFO) for the Americas division of the world’s largest producer of outdoor power products. During this time, the new team brought an operating loss of $97 million to solid profit in three years. Additionally, he introduced various approaches which generated more than $200 million of cash, identified and collected on a $5 million dollar contract error with $2 million ongoing annual savings missed by two previous CFOs, and reduced the US corporate staff by 30 pecent while improving service, information, and controls, including a two day reduction in the monthly closing process.
Ron also served as VP and CFO for the North American Beverage Can Sector and its sister divisions of one of the world’s top five consumer packaging/manufacturing companies serving the beverage, personal care, health care, and food markets. During this time, he established financial control and led integration of administrative functions for a major acquisition in Brazil, Chile, and Argentina.
Additionally, he was the CFO of some investments for one of the largest private equity firms (Forstmann Little) globally specializing in leveraged buy-outs. In one investment, he was responsible for the finance, MIS, and purchasing for $125 million provider of outsourced services and labor to the US, Saudi Arabia, and other governments.
