Deloitte’s Consumer Priorities in Health Care Survey challenged consumers to prioritize interactions that were most important to them for an optimal health care experience. Respondents identified four key interactions they highly value:
● To be known and understood in order to get a personalized health care experience
● Affordable care with no billing surprises
● Access to care when, where, and how best it suits them
● Tools to help manage their care

The ability to offer virtual health solutions can be a competitive advantage for physicians. Physicians consider chronic condition management the most promising use for virtual health technologies with the potential to help retain and grow their patient panel. Physicians who deliver high-quality, patient-centered care will likely be in higher demand by patients as interest in virtual health solutions only continues to grow.
