At this year’s conference, we will explore whether UK executive pay is prepared for the new world. Over the past two years, we have seen a material shift in practice, as companies seek to compete in a global talent market. However, against a backdrop of geopolitical and economic uncertainty, do companies have the right pay models to navigate the new environment? How will increased latitude impact the role of remuneration committees and how will investors judge pay outcomes in future years? What are the implications for the rest of the UK market? We will discuss the implications on executive pay and broader reward strategies and ask how things may change from here.
