Millions of people around the world are held back from achieving their full potential.
Investing in education and skills is the answer. It is the foundation of opportunity and progress and creates better futures for all.
Since 2016, Deloitte has focused on helping people in the UK overcome barriers to skills, education and employment through our 5 Million Futures social impact strategy. Working with schools and charities, we mobilise our people by volunteering, fundraising and pro bono work to build better futures throughout the UK.
To date our work has made a positive difference to almost 3 million futures.
5 Million Futures supports Deloitte’s global WorldClass ambition to reach 100 million people by 2030.
In FY24, we worked with over 80 schools and charities across the UK, impacting the futures of over 661,000 people.
Our colleagues dedicated 55,748 hours to volunteering initiatives and contributed over 14,300 hours of pro bono work, leveraging their skills and expertise to make an impact that matters.
Through our people’s fundraising efforts, we raised over £1.1 million, contributing to a total community investment exceeding £10.7 million. This investment reflects the value of time and resources dedicated to supporting our strategy.
Our commitment to responsible business practices underscores our dedication to making a tangible difference in the communities where we live and work.
