KSeF Odyssey: how to set the right course?

The aim of the material is to provide a broad range of knowledge for individuals who will be involved in projects related to the use of KSeF from July 1, 2024. In mid-2024, structured invoicing will become mandatory.

Based on the Deloitte’s survey of more than 1,000 respondents, as many as 50 percent of those who participated indicated that creating an optimal e-invoicing process causes the most problems and raises significant concerns for businesses. This makes the exploring of the topic and elaborating of a broad spectrum of issues necessary from a taxpayer's perspective.

Looking at the current version of the proposed regulations, KSeF is to cover B2B sales transactions (domestic and cross-border). Earlier plans by the Ministry of Finance included the inclusion of consumer invoices (B2C) in KSeF, but they were ultimately excluded from this mechanism. In March 2023, a draft of the relevant national regulations was presented on the government's website.
