NextOrbit is a Deloitte initiative that promotes collaboration between the academic world, businesses, startups and institutions to facilitate technology transfer and the development of new commercial, innovative and sustainable applications between Earth and Space, within the New Space Economy. It focuses on two main directions:
- From Space to Earth, by enhancing the use of space data and technologies, supporting their application in terrestrial commercial fields with impacts on strategic sectors;
- From Earth to Space, by facilitating access to the space sector for companies operating in other fields, encouraging collaborations, experiments, and pilot projects.
Hub Services
To fulfil its mission, NextOrbit actively supports the development of the innovation ecosystem in the context of the New Space Economy through various initiatives, including: Incubation programs for startups and teams of innovators, Acceleration paths for the launch of pilot projects aimed at testing innovative solutions and technologies, Venture Building for the creation and launch of new entrepreneurial ventures, and Networking and Eminence Events, involving key stakeholders from across the ecosystem.
Our Spaces
NextOrbit is based within the NextHub spaces of Deloitte in Bari, a state-of-the-art hub designed to foster collaboration, research, and the development of new technological solutions. The facility hosts over 1,000 workstations, a 260-seat auditorium, and more than 1,000 square meters of green areas dedicated to sharing and well-being.
A significant portion of the space is dedicated to hosting startups and innovative teams, with the goal of supporting the growth of new entrepreneurial ventures in the fields of logistics, sustainable mobility, and the space economy.
