Empowering future leaders
Deloitte, in continuity with previous years, confirmed its role as the Official Knowledge Partner of NEXT 2025.
NEXT 2025 is an initiative launched by ISPI, the Italian Institute specialized in geopolitical and geoeconomic analysis at an international level, also supported by Bocconi University and the OECD. The initiative aimed to establish a global network of young talents and future leaders, offering an exclusive platform to engage with political representatives, experts and business leaders on critical international topics, such as: Peace & Stability, Human Rights & People Empowerment, Sustainable & Fair Growth, Digital Transition & AI, Energy/Green Transition/Food Security.
Participants were engaged in virtual meetings, developing innovative ideas and policy proposals which were later explored during the final in-person event, on May 5-7, 2025. This event featured plenary sessions, interactive workshops, and speeches by outstanding leaders from various backgrounds.
The majority of the sessions and workshops took place at Bocconi University and Palazzo Clerici, while one of the workshops (May 6) was hosted in Deloitte’s offices.
NEXT 2025 brought together 200 participants, divided into four groups of 50 each (Young Talents; Business Leaders; Think Tanks; Civil Society and Civil Servants), and welcomed an audience of more than 1,000 young people from all over the world, representing more than 60 countries.
During the Forum, some of the 200 participants proposed distinctive policy recommendations focused on Digital Transition and Sustainability Transition. Through a collaboration with Think7 Canada and Think20 South Africa, the most prominent proposals - a G7 Programme of Digital Advisors for Inclusion and the Development of Green Hydrogen-Powered Industrial Hubs in Low-and Middle-Income Countries - were reviewed with the support of our Network experts and consequently submitted to the G7 and G20.
