Monica Palumbo

Monica is a Partner in the Deloitte's Sustainability Services team in Italy and a WorldClimate Supporting Sustainability Partner. She has developed extensive experience on sustainability issues for both listed and unlisted companies across various sectors, both in Italy and abroad.

Monica has managed numerous projects focused on developing a methodology to support and review sustainability reports, helping companies define and implement sustainability programs.

She supports clients in stakeholder engagement activities; Social and Environmental due diligence (ESG); Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) and activities related to ethical indices (particularly the Dow Jones Sustainability Index).

She also supports clients in quantifying the social impact of investments and in adopting and implementing sustainable finance principles within their investments and operations, as well as in corporate transformation processes toward business models that are more sustainable, have lower climate impact, and are more resource-efficient.
