Fabio Pompei is the Chief Executive Officer of Deloitte Italy and Deloitte Central Mediterranean since 2019.
He began his career at Arthur Andersen, where he was appointed partner in 2000, and later continued at Deloitte following the integration of the two networks. He is a member of Deloitte EMEA CEO Council and since 2023 of the Deloitte Global Executive Committee.
Previously, he served as CEO of Deloitte & Touche S.p.A., the Audit company of the network, and was Talent Leader of Deloitte Italy from 2011 to 2015.
Registered with the Italian Association of Chartered Accountants and listed in the Register of Statutory Auditors, he is also a board member of the American Chamber of Commerce and ISPI.
Throughout his career, he has gained experience across various industrial sectors, participating in IPO processes and major transactions.
Under his leadership, Deloitte in Italy launched the “Impact for Italy” program in 2020, aimed at contributing to the country’s growth and supporting businesses in the challenges of digitalization, innovation, sustainability, and internationalization.
