Andrea Poggi

Head of Public Policy & Stakeholder Relations Centre, DCM

Andrea is the Head of the Public Policy & Stakeholder Relations Centre, DCM - a strategic evolution of the DCM Public Policy Program - designed and committed to serve as a single bridge between the business and institutions, catalyzing network initiatives across Policy Advisory, Key Multilateral Fora, Institutional Thought Leadership and Events.  This role builds on his experience as Head of the Deloitte Delegation to the B7, where Deloitte served as the sole Knowledge Partner to Confindustria during the 2024 Italian G7 Presidency.

Since 2014, Andrea has led the DCM Innovation practice, which he founded. In 2018, he established Officine Innovazione - DCM first practice dedicated to innovation, now counting 100+ professionals and leading strategic partnerships across the Network with industry players, startups, universities, and research centres - where he served as CEO until 2025.

Andrea is the Global Lead Client Service Partner for one of the leading Italian insurance companies, responsible for driving Deloitte’s multi-country growth and multi-business development. He has contributed to making the account one of the Network’s key clients at NSE level, leveraging his deep consulting expertise, particularly in the financial services and insurance sectors.

Within Deloitte North & South Europe (NSE), Andrea led from 2019 to 2023 the NSE Innovation practice. He has also acted, from 2022 to 2023, as Managing Partner for NSE Growth. During his NSE tenures, Andrea has been part of NSE exec, of the Global C&I Exec and of the Global Strategy & Innovation Exec.

In 2012 he founded Deloitte Monitor, strategy advisory boutique, arm of Deloitte in Italy, with a focus on Corporate and Organizational Strategy, Business Plan, Marketing and M&A, combining deep industry expertise with proven methodologies to support C-level executives. From 2015 to 2023, he also served as DCM Growth (formerly C&I) Leader, contributing to steady year-on-year growth and the creation of a new commercial and go-to-market model for the Network.

With almost 30 years of managerial experience in strategy consulting, innovation and public policy, Andrea has authored several publications and is a recognized thought leader, actively engaged in events and discussions within the business community and institutions. Andrea has been University professor of Business Organization and has performed as speaker and subject matters expert in multiple highly-recognized events and seminars.
