Cormac is Deloitte Ireland’s Strategy & Transactions practice leader. With 30 years' experience in the firm, Cormac advises client leaders and C-Suite on strategy, growth, business model transformation and scale M&A. His sectoral focuses are consumer, industrials and international business.  Cormac leads Deloitte Advisory services to a number of Irelands largest firms – both public and private.

With over 15 years of transaction experience, Conor helps lead our transaction services (TS) team. Conor works with private equity and corporate clients to support them on acquisitions and sales processes to maximise value and ultimately deliver on their M&A goals. Conor has advised and led the diligence on multiple complex and landmark transactions in the Irish market with both domestic and international clients.

James has extensive transaction experience advising mid-market private companies and private equity firms on both sell-side and buy-side transactions, as well as considerable due diligence expertise. James works across a range of sectors, with a particular focus on Technology and Engineering. This focus is supported by his dual qualifications as a chartered accountant and engineer.

James has significant experience in complex private equity transactions, having acted for private equity firms on the buy side and for indigenous private businesses, supporting them through private equity processes. In addition, James leads our Fast 50 programme which recognises the fastest-growing technology companies on the island of Ireland.

Ian brings over 18 years of experience supporting finance organisations through M&A and transformation events, specialising in CFO advisory for transaction preparation, integration, and
separation. His expertise spans corporate and private equity deals, IPOs, and capital market transactions, with a focus on IFRS financials, carve-outs, andfinance function improvements.

Ian works within Strategy and Business Design to help senior executives define growth strategies, design business models, and execute complex transformations. His team supports clients in navigating uncertainty with data-driven, resilient strategies that drive long term success.

Partner, Deloitte Advisory | M&A Transaction Services Leader

With over 20 years’ experience, Marc leads complex M&A due diligence and capital market transactions across renewable energy, consumer business and industrials, financial services and aircraft leasing. He and his team deliver end-to-end transaction support including due diligence, SPA advisory, and advanced analytics to help clients identify risks, unlock value, and optimise deal outcomes. Marc is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a master’s in accounting from University College Dublin.

Tanya leads Deloitte’s Debt Advisory, Value Creation, and Corporate Turnaround practices, bringing over 20 years of financial services experience as both advisor and corporate banker. She advises
mid to large corporates on financial structuring, capital raising, refinancing,and operational improvements.

Tanya’s team delivers tailored debt and equity financing solutions, acquisition financing, and turnaround strategies that enhance financial stability and support sustainable growth. As Head of Private Equity for Ireland, she also guides private equity clients through complex transactions and value optimisation.

He has over 20 years’ experience advising companies and financial institutions on a wide variety of restructuring engagements to include business reviews, working capital & cashflow planning, options analysis, contingency planning and formal insolvency engagements.

George is a Partner specialising in sell-side and buy-side financial due diligence (FDD, VDD and vendor assist services) across private companies and private equity clients. George has over 15 years’ experience working on transactions and his sector expertise includes TMT, Industrials and Business Services. George also leads our transaction data analytics offering, providing in depth analysis on deal through the use of data analytics tools.  

His team’s analytical insights and value creation strategies help clients identify risks, uncover value, and optimise deal outcomes. George’s guidance ensures clients make informed decisions and maximise value throughout the M&A process.

Aziz is a Partner in Deloitte Advisory leading the Valuation and Business Modelling practice, bringing technical expertise and commercial insight to guide organisations through complex valuation matters. Aziz advises on the valuation of businesses, equity and debt instruments, and a wide range of intangible assets including intellectual property, software platforms, brands, and aviation assets for financial reporting, tax, transaction, and strategic decision-making purposes.

Marie’s team offers end-to-end support—from M&A advisory and capital raising to financial modelling and PPA procurement—helping developers, investors, and operators navigate complex renewable energy projects.
