Official Partner to Team Ireland

Sports have the power to unite. To bring together people from all different backgrounds and perspectives. The Olympic and Paralympic Movements plays a vital role in celebrating extraordinary human achievement that combines the highest level of athletic competition with a spirit of friendship, solidarity, and fair play. And never has this been more important than now. That is why Deloitte is proud to be an Official Partner to the Irish Olympic and Paralympic Teams. We aim to support Irish athletes in their pursuit of the endless possibilities and impact that can be achieved through hard work, dedication & resilience– while inspiring future generations.

Through our Team Ireland partnership, we are supporting Irish sporting talent across various initiatives. This includes our support of Paralympic Ireland’s new Aspire Programme, fostering the development of the next generation of Irish para-athletes. As a member of Sports Ireland’s Athlete-Friendly Employer Network (AFE) which works with companies to create sustainable pathways for elite athletes into their workplace, Eoin Rheinisch, three time Irish Olympian & Head of Performance Life Skills with Sports Ireland, shares Deloitte's role in the Athlete-Friendly Employer network .

Deloitte has supported the Olympic Federation of Ireland's Athletes’ Commission through collaborative consideration of possible amendments to the Irish tax and social security systems and recommending same to the government so as to further support Irish athletes beyond competing in Paris this summer.

Deloitte is also the Worldwide Olympic and Paralympic Partner, bringing a global team with wide-ranging management and business consulting capabilities to deliver meaningful impact to the International Olympic Committee (IOC), International Paralympic Committee (IPC), National Olympic Committees, fans and athletes who make the Olympic & Paralympic Games possible.
