People

Impact Report 2025

Our people are at the heart of everything we do. In a year defined by disruption and acceleration, our 460,000+ professionals across the globe have shown what it means to lead with resilience, empathy, and purpose.

We’ve continued to invest in creating careers with meaning. Our focus on lifelong learning is evolving, combining world-class training with future-facing capabilities in GenAI, sustainability, climate, and inclusive leadership. Through Deloitte University and bespoke upskilling platforms, we are helping our people build the mindset and tools to navigate a fast-moving, tech-enabled world.

For us, inclusion is a principle. Which is why we’re shaping a workplace where everyone feels they belong, can thrive, and be themselves. That means listening deeply. It means being responsive when parts of our community (whether through race, identity, disability, or background) feel unseen or unsafe. And it means investing in psychological safety, workplace mental health, and inclusive career advancement.

We’re also focused on generational shifts. Gen Z and Millennials now make up the majority of our workforce and they’re driving a culture that is more values-aligned, digitally fluent, and open to challenge. Our Global Gen Z & Millennial Survey continues to inform how we support this next generation of leaders as employees, but also as catalysts for change. A people-powered, tech-enabled Deloitte can only happen by design. We are proud to do this through intentional culture, inclusive leadership, and the belief that every career we support is a chance to create impact that matters.

In 2024, we are continuing to prioritise an inclusive workplace that not only supports the mental health and well-being of our people, but also fosters a culture of openness and dialogue.

Recognising the increasing pressures of modern work, we have taken deliberate steps to minimise work-related stress, ensuring that our people have access to the resources and support they need to thrive.

One of the key initiatives that we’ve found successful is building storytelling capabilities in collaboration with the Dublin Story Slam. This initiative is designed to help our people define, craft, and share their personal stories. By encouraging individuals to express their experiences, Dublin Story Slam aims to increase visibility and facilitate crucial conversations around mental health within the workplace.

Through our sponsorship of the Irish Funds Industry Association — the representative body for the investment management industry in Ireland — Deloitte Ireland also supports the rollout of a financial literacy program aimed at transition year students across the country.

Some of our finance professionals played a crucial role in equipping young people with the knowledge and skills to make informed financial decisions.

At Deloitte, we continue to raise the bar for what it means to be an inclusive, supportive workplace.

By nurturing our talent and fostering an environment where everyone feels valued and heard, we can drive meaningful change both within our organisation and in the communities we serve.
