"It is my privilege to introduce this year’s Impact Report, a collage of the work Deloitte has undertaken to create positive, lasting change for our people, our clients, and the communities we serve."
Lorraine Griffin, Chair, Deloitte Ireland
Each year, this report offers a moment to reflect not only on what we’ve achieved, but of the values that guide us and the responsibilities that come with being part of a global organisation of our scale and influence.
One of those responsibilities is to help expand access to opportunity.
Opportunity remains one of the most powerful forces for progress, yet it is not equally or fairly shared. Across Ireland and beyond, too many people still face structural barriers to education, employment, safety, and recognition. At Deloitte, we believe our role is not simply to acknowledge those inequalities, but to challenge them, actively, intentionally, and continually.
That belief has been tested this year. The recent rise in racially motivated attacks in our communities, acts which have left many feeling shaken, angry, and unsafe, reminds us that dignity and inclusion can never be assumed. These events are deeply at odds with the kind of culture we strive to build. As a firm, we condemn racism and hate in all its forms. And we stand with all those who have been impacted.
In moments like these, we are reminded of the importance of leading with both conviction and care. For us, that is the essence of Always Challenging. It is about challenging injustice, exclusion, and complacency. And it is about using our voice, our people, and our platform to help create a fairer society.
We’ve seen that mindset in action across many areas of our work this year. Our pro bono programme has expanded significantly, with a five to six-fold increase in hours delivered, reflecting a growing desire among our people to apply their skills in service of social good.
We achieved our WorldClass 2030 goal, positively impacting 100 million
lives globally by the end of FY25. As we enter the next phase of this programme, our efforts will remain focused on education, skills, and employment, particularly for those furthest from access and opportunity.
Our support for the 30% Club continues as part of our broader commitment to equity and inclusive leadership. Representation matters but it is culture that sustains progress. That is why we remain focused on systems change, not just statements of intent.
The trust our clients, people, and communities place in us comes with a responsibility to act. It is not enough to grow our business; we must also grow our impact, thoughtfully, boldly, and with purpose.
Thank you for engaging with this report and for continuing to hold us to the high standards we set for ourselves.
