Women in tech with Deloitte and ServiceNow

Five calls-to-action to improve gender equality in the tech industry

Female technology leaders from Deloitte Global, ServiceNow, and their clients came together to share ideas to promote and advance the impact of women in technology.

Together, we can accelerate gender equity in tech

Deloitte and ServiceNow are enabling organizations to operate more intelligently and innovate more rapidly. Increasingly, leaders recognize that the most innovative workplaces are likely those that actively embrace the contribution of women leaders.

Diverse technology teams can produce products, services, and models that are innovative, higher-performing, and less prone to bias. Gender equity in the tech industry is not just a program to be managed—it should be a business imperative.

While progress has been made, true workplace equality remains elusive: Just 28% of leadership roles are filled by women, according to the UN Women’s Forecasting Women in Leadership Positions brief.

Against the vibrant backdrop of ServiceNow’s Knowledge 2024 conference in Las Vegas, Deloitte Global hosted a powerful gathering of female technology leaders from client companies and ServiceNow. This event aimed to connect, recharge, and chart a path toward accelerated progress and advancing gender equity across the technology industry. Based on their discussions, five key strategies were identified that organizations may implement to harness the power of female leadership in technology.

Women @ Work 2024: A Global Outlook

Deloitte’s survey of approximately 5,000 women across 10 countries explores the experiences of women in the workplace. Now in its fourth year, the report explores persistent workplace challenges and aims to give employers insights on how they can truly expand equality in the workplace.
