Global brand strength serving Swiss clients

Impact on society and environment

Leading Switzerland's sustainable future

Deloitte Switzerland has achieved the EcoVadis Platinum Medal, placing us in the top one percent of companies worldwide for sustainability performance. This recognition spans environmental impact, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. It reflects the firm's continued commitment to integrating sustainable practices across all business operations and to better serve clients on their own sustainability journey.

Our environmental achievements include operating our offices with 100% renewable electricity since 2017, receiving Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certification for our Zurich headquarters, and International Organisation for Standardisation 14001 Environmental Management System certification for all our Swiss offices.

Over the last years, Deloitte Switzerland has achieved a significant reduction in carbon emissions per full-time equivalent compared to our pre-Covid benchmark. This demonstrates measurable progress through our WorldClimate transformation programme. In 2024, the Science-Based Targets initiative validated our worldwide target to reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2040, reinforcing our commitment to lead the transition to net-zero in professional services.

Advancing Switzerland's regulatory innovation

We established and support the parliamentary RegTech working group, where representatives from national parliament, the Federal Chancellery and science exchange regularly. The prominent group demonstrates trust in Deloitte’s capabilities to initiate and stimulate discussions on regulatory technology solutions that help advance Switzerland's public sector and society to the next level.

Making a difference beyond business

We use our expertise and resources to address societal challenges in Switzerland. Through our WorldClass programme, we aim to improve access to education, training and employment – with a cumulative goal to positively impact 75,000 lives in Switzerland and 100 million globally by 2030. Each year, our people contribute thousands of volunteer hours to community and skills‑building programmes, alongside targeted investments that support sustainable, long‑term impact.
