AI in the public sector: where is Switzerland going?

While AI has leaped into reality, public sector organisations still face significant challenges in adopting and scaling AI. What are the key factors that contribute to successful AI projects? And how is Switzerland positioned on this topic?

The topic of AI is high on the agenda, especially since the release of ChatGPT in November 2022. This event has opened up to the wider public the kind of applications that are now feasible with AI and with increasing integration in standard solutions (e.g. Microsoft Copilot, AI-powered writing features in Google workspace), AI now becomes accessible to all users and not just data scientists.
