Reconciliation shapes our shared future. It requires all of us to listen, learn, and act with purpose. Over the past five years, we have strengthened our commitment to better work alongside First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities. Now it's time to build on our progress, evolve our aspirations, and advance our reconciliation journey for a more equitable country. Together.
We are honoured to be the first professional services firm to achieve Gold level certification from Canadian Council for Indigenous Business (CCIB) through its Partnership Accreditation in Indigenous Relations Program.
This recognition reflects years of steady action, beginning with early initiatives in 2018 and leading to the launch of Canada’s first corporate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) in 2020. Since then, we have delivered on nearly all of our initial commitments and, last year, set our sights even higher with a renewed RAP, Expanding Horizons. Guided by 15 refreshed commitments, this report builds on the progress we've made, driving impact across our pillars of inclusion, education, employment, and economic empowerment.
While Gold level certification from CCIB marks a powerful milestone, it’s not the end of our journey. Between expanding our Nation Building practice and launching R8dius, an Indigenous-majority owned business, our commitments have turned ambition into real, on-the-ground impact. Now, we're excited to share our new Expanding Horizons: Year-five RAP update report, capturing the stories, actions, and learnings that reflect how far we’ve come and guide the path ahead.
From bold goals to real progress, see how our work to make a better future for all helped us achieve Gold.

Five years after launching our first RAP, we're proud to see how the conversation has evolved within our organization and beyond. While our renewed RAP commitments strengthen our own path forward, we also recognize that true reconciliation means working together, learning from one another, and building on the strides we make.

At Deloitte, we continue to advance reconciliation by creating impact within the four pillars of inclusion, education, employment, and economic empowerment. Our renewed Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) reinforces our commitments, reflecting our vision of a more inclusive future for what is now known as Canada.
Together, we're advancing reconciliation
Every culture, every voice, every perspective advances our reconciliation journey. That's why we ensured our renewed RAP artwork reflects this shared commitment. Infusing elements from our foundational artwork, our latest artwork celebrates and honours the diversity of Indigenous communities across Canada while acknowledging the interconnectedness of their past, present, and future.
Our first RAP set out to make an impact that matters by collaborating with First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities to foster meaningful and sustainable change. Recognizing our responsibility as business leaders and the need for greater accountability, we’ve raised the bar with 15 new commitments to embed Indigenous perspectives in our work and beyond.
