Where advanced therapy leaders come together
Established in 2019, Deloitte’s NextGen Therapies Industry Working Group (IWG) serves as a forum for exchanging perspectives and driving actionable discussion on critical topics. The IWG’s mission is to foster collaboration among advanced therapy leaders, providing a space to share leading practices, coordinate industry-wide standards, and co-create transformative solutions that will enhance the lives of patients and providers.

ISBT-128 label standard
The IWG led a collaborative effort to publish the first ISBT-128 labeling standard for the cell and gene therapy industry.
Site certification assessment
IWG members published a risk-based assessment that will reduce burden on treatment centers, minimize rework for manufacturers, and streamline audit efforts.
Digital therapy orchestration portal
Our sessions have helped give a voice to clinicians about their day-to-day challenges, leading to the creation of an industry digital therapy portal.
80/20 task force
The IWG is an active member of the ASTCT 80/20 task force, which aims to standardize and streamline CGT manufacturing requirements for treatment center onboarding.
