    Medicaid IT infrastructure transformation

    A large state Health Benefit Exchange (HBX) sought to enhance Customer Experience (CX) and prepare for emerging technologies. Deloitte was engaged to manage and enhance the on-premise software platform and develop a migration strategy using the Deloitte Cloud Migration Factory methodology to transition to Amazon Web Services (AWS). The state selected Deloitte for its strong relationship, successful track record, expertise in similar projects, and leadership in cloud infrastructure and cybersecurity consulting.

This process took several weeks and significantly delayed the referral process. Deloitte deployed Artificial Intelligence (AI) to assist in assigning grant applications to appropriate review groups. This AI tool scans an application’s text, title, and abstract and assigns it to an appropriate group with 92% accuracy.
