Aaron Shaw is an Audit & Assurance partner in the Accounting and Reporting Services group in Deloitte & Touche LLP’s National Office, where he oversees the Compensation and Benefits subject matter team. He also focuses on revenue recognition, business combinations, financial statement presentation, and goodwill. In addition, he serves as the Technology Industry Professional Practice Director. In this capacity, he works with the Professional Practice Network to set audit policies and respond to emerging regulatory and business developments. Prior to joining Deloitte’s National Office, he spent two years as a Professional Accounting Fellow in the Office of the Chief Accountant at the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC). Aaron is a graduate of the University of California – Berkeley and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Washington, DC and California.
